🍃 THE MEET AND GREET

Each Blooming, a feast is supplied on the Food Altar. Berries, nuts, mushrooms and more have been served in larger portions to fill all stomachs, and both honey-sweetened water and berry juice is served to the thirsty. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves.

Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow-worms and fireflies that just want to be your best friends.

🍃 THE FASTEST OF THEM ALL

Speaking of those wings, isn't it time to really try them out? The Servant Chime is excitedly waving her hands and pointing upwards to the next floors, mimicking taking off as fast as possible and timing them.

Some attempts might be difficult, while others catch on quickly. Unfortunately the somewhat dangerous crystal floors can easily knock a faerie down, or even tear their new wings - so caution there is needed to keep this a bloodless race.

...bottle cap. Well, nobody said there was even a price!

🍃 IT'S DUSTY IN HERE

Another Servant, Tone, is ready to hand out vials to each of the new arrivals when they visit the Dust Fountain floor.

These small glass bottles come with attached rings to hang from your belt, and are about the size of an Adventurer's hand. Arrivals are welcome to fill their vial with any of the differently colored dusts, although he'll make serious musical tones of warning to anyone attempting to grab some black dust. (He won't stop you, though. Sometimes people just have to learn from their mistakes.)

Despite the markings on the fountains, what these dusts actually do might be a little difficult to understand, but that's what trying them out is about, right?

🍃 EXTRA SOFT FRIENDS

There appears to be a small infestation of caterpillars in the Tree, but they're not here to cause any kind of chaos. No, these extremely fuzzy and soft little creatures are seeking out both the Life Stream and Adventurers for a big dose of happiness and pets.

They seem to really crave some attention, and unlike many caterpillars with their appearance they're not poisonous or risking irritating any skin. No, they're silky smooth critters of floof with tiny red 'shoes' on their legs, about the size of a lapdog for the shrunken newcomers.

🍃 IN THE MOUNTAIN HALLS

As the evening comes after the Blooming event, the sun is still out even at late hours this far north. The massive pines and spruces are casting long shadows, though, and the forest doesn't look as inviting anymore. Just as the first signs of night appears, the ground shakes so hard that even the Tree sways slightly, and the loudest yawn anyone has ever heard thunders through the land.

Those brave enough to fly up over the canopy to see what on earth this is all about can catch one of the faraway mountains move just a little bit. A face can be seen in it, blinking a large, glowing eye at the setting sun before it closes again. Another tremor hits the forest as the giant(?!) appears to settle again.

Just what kind of place have you been sent to, where such giant things exist yet you're the size of a fairy? Are the other mountains creatures as well?

[Waiting for the next throw he gave another leap, although he seem to loose balance a bit as his wings fluttered a bit in place, but managed to toss the nut back.]

Yes I believe all of us have something in common after all, do you like music?

[He laughed again, bouncing the nut from one elbow to another.]

Nothing's more important than music to a Fraggle! Why, with few exceptions I can't think of a single day that didn't have new songs being sung, down at the Rock.

Mordrax's Miracles! You love music too? Oh that's-Whoa!

[And trip and trip trying to catch the flying nut, falls flat on his face with an "OOMF!"]

[He blinked in surprise and dropped down, zipping over to him.]

Are you alright?

[Coughs out the bit of dirt as he sat back up. Dusting himself off trying to look cool.]

Yeah-Yeah am alright, I think I just lost my balance, but it's alright.

Guess thinking about music distracted me a bit, eh?

[He snickered a little, helping brush him off some.]

Yeah, believe me I know all about how distracting music can be.

[Stepping back, he offered him a smile.]

I'm Gobo, Gobo Fraggle. Nice to meetcha.

[Holding out to shake his hand.]

The name is Douxie.

[Gobo's hand was less than half the size of Douxie's but he shook it well, his smile only widening.]

Pleasure's all mine!

[Douxie didn't seem to mind their height difference as he shook their hands in greeting. Chuckles as he nodded.]

So what kind of music do you lads play?

Pretty much everything, honestly! Whatever strikes us in the mood. I myself tend to prefer guitar-heavy stuff, but I can play a few other instruments, too. I've even got a guitar I made when I was just a kid, that's pretty much been my constant companion.

A guitar-Oh that's brilliant! So am I mate!

I'm on electric guitar, oh we gotta show off somewhere I tell ya. You hear my strings, I hear yours, eh?

[His tail waved eagerly behind him and he nodded, perking up some.]

You gotta deal, friend! My guitar can sound however I want it to sound, pretty much, so I bet we could shake some awesome tunes out between the two of us.

[Points at Gobo as he wagged his hand with a bright smile.]

Ohoho-You got a great mind you have!

I bet we can blast the floor with our double combo!

[His wings flicked excitedly and he nodded.]

Yeah we could! Aw man I've gotta teach you some Fraggle songs sometime. Bet you'd really like 'em!

Brilliant! I'd love to hear your music-Oh hey-Maybe teach you some of mine. I got a band back home, Ash Dispersal Pattern. We're off the chain!

Sure, I love the idea of a trade. Especially from someone who's in a real band! [He snickered some.] We Fraggles, we just kinda group up as the moment grabs us.

What's that like, your band?

Oh definitely, we been playing for awhile we were gonna crush it at Battle of the Bands, but of course we got interrupted by unfortunate events.

But no worries, I'm sure if a chance came 'round again it'd be a killer. It's mostly just me now, so I'll have to work another way to beef it up.

I'm sure you will! Something unexpected usually happens, I've found, but there's always a way to find that can make it even better than it was before.

That's right!

As my master used to say, "A wizard does not make mistakes. He makes unexpected possibilities."

I think that can be the same for anyone who's got a dream too.

It absolutely could. I think that's just life really, the events that come out of unexpected possibilities.

[A little snicker.]

I think I could tell a hundred stories like that just on my own, much less what my friends might say.

That's good, I try to do as much as I can, even when I was stuck sweeping floors.

Plenty, that's for sure! Not all of 'em are happy, but that's the way it all goes.

[He chuckled a bit.]

Truthfully? I started out just getting the mail. [By that glitter to his eyes though, it wasn't as simple as it sounded.] If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the biggest changes come from the smallest, most unexpected places.

[Chuckles softly.]

Don't I know that...

[Thinking about all the times Merlin had to make him be patient to learn more, and was stuck mainly doing chores. Even if it was for the better. And ofcourse before Merlin even found him.]

When I was learning magic on my own I thought I could do anything, seems just do street magic was hardly just the life. Knowing I can do so much more kept me motivated, even if it took a lifetime.

[He snickered through his nose and nodded.]

I know the feeling! You shoulda seen me when I was younger. But whatever fire I had lit in me when I was a kid is what forged me into the Fraggle I am today.

[Gives a bright smile.]
