Welcome to the Faerie Feast!
After your have gained your wings, you are met by a feast on the second floor with all that the forest can offer you. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves.

Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow worms and flies that just want to be your best friends.

Explore how your new gem works, try put your leaf clothes or decide to head further into the tree, seeing just what kind of place your have stumbled into. Maybe you will even get a glimpse of those hairy legs on the fourth floor?

((OOC: Bia is based on this bit of Brazilian folklore, if you're curious.))

Well, this is new. It isn't the mortal realm she knows, but it's not the Encante, either. She doesn't know of any third option. So that's... a thing. Is someone playing a joke on her?

But, more importantly, she is at a party. Parties are almost her very favourite thing, because parties mean delicious food, and music, and dancing, and Bia is absolutely the last person ever to question why there is a party. There should always be a party, and she should be at it.

So she weaves among the tables, grabbing small bits of food but also grabbing random hapless passerby to scoop them up into a dance. Is there even music? It doesn't matter, because Bia comes with her own, a combination of wordless singing and the percussion of fingers and hands and feet. She is not sorry for the inconvenience.

Wings. Wings.

Such madness. Shapeshifting isn't a big deal. Shapeshifting is just normal for her. Still, shapeshifting from dolphin to human is one thing, and shapeshifting into human-but-with-bug-wings is completely different. Some sort of pinkish... butterfly... moth... thing. Bia's not good with bug names, okay. They're there. They are generally not delicious. They're important she guesses but it's mostly stuff she doesn't care about. Bugs.

Still, the proper and sane thing to do is try them out.

It's not like swimming, which is by far the superior mode of transportation. Gravity is stupid. Still, she tumbles awkwardly through the air, laughing hysterically, holding her broad straw hat on with one hand when she somersaults upside down, over people's heads.

At least she's having fun?

It's an odd music, and it sweeps into the room like a fast paced swing number, making his feet tap and his head bob lightly with the beat. It's hard to imagine ever sitting at the corner of the room pretending to be invisible when there's something like that stringing him along for the ride.

'What's the name of the song?' he asks, as she passes.

"The name?"

Bia laughs, and she reaches to catch him by the hands. "Aren't you funny? Why does music need a name? It just is. It comes up through through the ground through my feet and that's enough."

He drags his feet only a little in a dishonest protest, but there's never been much of an obstacle between James Barnes and an opportunity to dance.

'That's one way of putting it,' he remarks. 'What if I want the same song again tomorrow?'
