Welcome to the Faerie Feast!
After your have gained your wings, you are met by a feast on the second floor with all that the forest can offer you. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves.
Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow worms and flies that just want to be your best friends.
Explore how your new gem works, try put your leaf clothes or decide to head further into the tree, seeing just what kind of place your have stumbled into. Maybe you will even get a glimpse of those hairy legs on the fourth floor?
[Memoca, with full confidence, leaps off and spreads her wings. The rush of air makes them unfold instantly, displaying in full view the intricate patterns of her wings. So majestic, so--
--wait, hold on, she's going down pretty fast. Like, uncannily fast. Unfortunately, Memoca's spent so much time underwater, flying in air with an unfamiliar wing shape is proving to perhaps be too much for her.]
[She'd been just about to yell her protests when--
Well, when she finds out that she's not the only one who can't fly for balls, really. Chora's just sitting there uselessly for a second before leaping to her feet and running after Memoca, trying to watch her graceful descent all the way down.
And it's totally worth it, once she's pretty sure that there hasn't been a fatality. They're tiny little fairies, they can't die right? Nahhh. Chora just scales down to her new, crumpled buddy like a little, pastel spider monkey before standing over her with her arms folded. ...Huh. That sure had been a thing.]
Not sure whether laughing or helping is appropriate. Are alive, yes?
[Don't worry, there won't be a major genre change just yet. Memoca twitches for a moment, before scrambling to her feet, wings crumbled-- it's fine, she folds them to pick things up anyway, so they snap back in place easily enough.]
Stupid wings!
[She's alive.
Memoca turns to Chora, before clearing her throat and saying:]
[...It'd be a lie to say that Chora isn't relieved when there are signs of life. Weird little sprout Memoca may be, but it's always nice when people don't die or grievously injure themselves.
That being said, she can't miss her chance to be an ass about everything; on comes her most serious of expressions, arms crossed and head inclined in mock thought.] Hm...Not sure about that. Was very hilarious thing I might have witnessed; may take more persuading to--
[And then she beams.] Just winding you up. Consider it forgotten; would not want to be laughed at for lack of skill with own wings, and would merely seem is somewhat new for everyone here. Won't even charge for such favour, considering was done for my benefit.

Wait, wait, hold up! No! WAAAAUGH--
[She crashes straight into the wall.
