After your have gained your wings, you are met by a feast on the second floor with all that the forest can offer you. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves. Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow worms and flies that just want to be your best friends. Explore how your new gem works, try put your leaf clothes or decide to head further into the tree, seeing just what kind of place your have stumbled into. Maybe you will even get a glimpse of those hairy legs on the fourth floor?

*Hey, Yoshitsugu is actually being fairly kind considering where Alundra had come from, being (unfairly) accused of letting multiple people die. This is a refreshing change. Also he might not be that swift on catching sarcasm.*

I guess that's true. At least we aren't up in nests and fall down a tree if we mess up. *Because then pain would certainly become a factor.*

[Yoshitsugu drops his arm properly, hiding it away once more, before looking over the elf a little more properly. This tree has drawn in scores of unusual souls, so many of which look like they've stepped straight out of an old myth.]

If the flow demands it, we may find ourselves forced to test our flying to further and further heights. Who knows what dangers this place has in store?

Hmmmm. *The human with the cloth on his face had a point.* Well, if we have wings, obviously, we're meant to fly. We might have to gather food and to do that, we'd need to leave the tree. And...suddenly being this small kind of presents a lot of dangers that just occurred to me.

Any spiders will be as ferocious, angry beasts, to which we serve as an appropriate, delicious source of food.

[Yoshitsugu's voice takes on a darker tone.]

And there's no telling what else lies beyond this mists. Perhaps beings that are as large as we once were?

Maybe. *Alundra covered his mouth in thought.* I just wonder how we all got here. There's no way all of us come from the same kingdom. *Especially the talking bird.* So why did we all change and get wings?

All the flow demands of us right now is that we adjust and survive. Wasting energy on trying to find out 'why' in the current circumstance is foolish.
