Welcome to the Faerie Feast!
After your have gained your wings, you are met by a feast on the second floor with all that the forest can offer you. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves.
Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow worms and flies that just want to be your best friends.
Explore how your new gem works, try put your leaf clothes or decide to head further into the tree, seeing just what kind of place your have stumbled into. Maybe you will even get a glimpse of those hairy legs on the fourth floor?
[ Henry managed a small smile from his position on the floor. At least he was believed. Then he shrugged. ]
It's okay. I would have done the same thing.
[ He still didn't move though. As much as he would like to believe he was safe, he was 100% sure that threat didn't still stand. It hurt him to think how he could doubt his grandfather. But in this body, who knew what he was capable of? ]
[He crossed over toward Henry, extending a hand down toward him to help him up once he was close enough.]
I don't know where we are or how we got here unfortunately. Hopefully though, we'll figure out someway to get home.
[They had been pulled to this world by something, thus there had to be a way they could be sent back eventually. He just hoped that nothing horrible happened in Storybrooke while they were gone. In Storybrooke, he would have been capable of fixing this incident between Henry and Pan by switching them back, but he couldn't do anything about it currently, so Storybrooke would just have to deal with the Pan within his grandson's body until he and Henry got back to it.]
[ Henry accepted the hand, standing and resisting the urge to pull the man into a hug. Lord knows he needs one but out of all of his family members, Mr Gold was probably the least likely to give him one. So he refrained.
It was worrying, however, that even the Dark One had no way of knowing how they arrived or where they were. But Henry didn't mind so much. He wasn't alone and that was the main thing in his mind. ]
I'm sure we'll find the answers in time. We always do.
[Gold likely would have given him a hug had he known the boy was wanting one, but as it stood, he refrained from any such show of affection.]
Indeed. It'll just take time. [Hopefully.]
[Perhaps once they had learned more about this place, answers about why and how they were here would eventually come and they could turn their focus toward how to return to Storybrooke.]
[ Henry nodded, unsure what else to say. Having not been alone with his man very often, even after knowing their connection, it was hard to think of any conversation starters now they were passed the introduction stage. ]
