Welcome to the Faerie Feast!
After your have gained your wings, you are met by a feast on the second floor with all that the forest can offer you. Tables and chairs are set up everywhere along the walkway between the houses, allowing the new visitors to meet and greet - or try to hide in the corners and eat berries all by themselves.

Try your new wings to be the first to grab those delicious crumbs of walnut bread? Or say hi to your party lights, courtesy of some excited glow worms and flies that just want to be your best friends.

Explore how your new gem works, try put your leaf clothes or decide to head further into the tree, seeing just what kind of place your have stumbled into. Maybe you will even get a glimpse of those hairy legs on the fourth floor?

[A small, genuine little smile.]

Thank you, um-- Peach. Yours is pretty lovely too.

And, oh, I don't know. A real princess is a lot more important than [hmm, time for a cover story-- consistency is key when dealing with an entirely new populace.] me. I'm the director of an art gallery, for pete's sake.

[A bit of a laugh, it's perhaps a bit forced. 'Tatiana' is trying to be brave, by all accounts.]

You think this hero of yours will mind rescuing the rest of us, too?

Oh! There's always a need for art galleries, though! You have a very important job, that's no reason to sell yourself short! [ For a princess, everything Peach says has a touch of humble genuineness to it. Of course, she believes all members of a kingdom have an important role to play-- and directors have no small part in keeping the community cultured. ]

And of course, Mario always saves people who are in danger, or people who've been kidnapped, not just me! He'll set all of us free, and undo the magic that's been cast upon us. There's no need to worry!

[ That, too, is genuine-- perhaps naive, but Peach has always known what's up, and she knows he'll always come to rescue her, without fail. ]

[If Natasha weren't trying so hard to maintain her cover, that much unremitted enthusiasm and kindness would be about when and where she'd decide to drag this 'Princess' off for interrogation elsewhere.

No one is that nice. Not even Rogers. Stop it, it's weird.

But Tatiana takes it all in stride.]

Any idea how long it might take? I mean-- I don't want to sound rude or impatient, obviously I'd be grateful if he could come help us, but somebody should probably feed my cat.

[ Peach doesn't do anything but nice. Some people can find it weird, for sure, but it was difficult being anything but herself. If she'd known Natasha was having some misgivings, she'd try to lay off a little bit... but a mind reader, Peach isn't. ]

He usually has to travel quite a bit... so it may take some time, but it doesn't seem like we're in any danger while we're here. Unless something unscrupulous pops out... oh, no! Poor kitty. I hope someone will stop by and take care of it. If only there were a way to send a message outward.

[ It's then, that she has a sudden epiphany. ]

-- Oh! What about that clear amber glass? If I recall correctly, that sends messages!
