WEEKLY UPDATE June 1 - 7

weather
The weather is becoming more even this week, with the temperature staying slightly lower than before. It's going to be rather gray and cloudy with a low pressure front and impressively humid air, but no rain will fall. It might be rather sticky and uncomfortable, though.
flora
Joining the tulips and the poppy are a bunch of nettles that begin to spread out over the ground. Despite their size, they can still sting pretty badly and should probably be avoided - unless used for food, of course.
Near the mist, a few roots have spilled from the other side, and they smell strongly of ginger despite the lack of the actual flower they're supposed to grow from.
The oak leaves from last week have disappeared completely, leaving no trace behind.
fauna
The insects are still buzzing around happily, and most of the kinds that can be found in a forest are now possible visitors in the tree. Bees have been swarming more around the top of the mist by the tree, just beyond reach. It's possible that they have a hive up there.
The rabbit is more trusting of the adventurers now after being fed by some, and the blind little furless babies are slowly becoming a bit more fuzzy and moving around more.
Outside the mist, a stray cat will be wandering around the area, meowing for something. The few times it gets close enough, a collar with a little bell can be seen around its neck.
events
• The musical tone can still be heard now and then up by the blocking crystals. It sounds sad.
• The food altar will be absolutely overwhelmed by food every day this week, some of it spilling off the edges. Aside from the normal berries, nuts and seeds, a chunk of honeycomb will be added as well - and in addition to that, a very limited number of tiny root vegetables, such as a baby carrot and a radish.
• The Life Stream will be acting a little odd, the golden light flickering to blue and back again.
quests
The mirror shard is blank. No new quests have been added.

RESERVES ARE OPEN!
The Activity Check ends on Thursday.
QUESTIONS
no subject
I'm lame and make lame referencesI was thinking! We do have spirits and people who commune with spirits here. Since the lifestream changing colors could be a bad thing it might lead to investigating. Given that at least two of the talking to spirits people do so through magic, out of body/shifting into different planes of reality, would they or anyone else be able to notice anything off about the lifestream in such a case? Could any of the spirit or spirit-like people of tree take note if they were to attempt to interact with it? Maybe some sort of weird voice or feelings to hint at what it means or no?

PLOTTING

It'll be also interesting if they can potentially "farm" with the seeds, roots and the things they gather.

Ivaera would be willing to help with a garden and could perhaps add elfroot to it, which she could then make healing poultices from.
