OKAY SO. Last Thursday, there was a viper around the Tree! And about half a dozen people killed it extremely dead and harvested it. So here are some things.

Meat! Most of it's in storage but a celebratory / welcoming cookout near Snorlax firefly is totally called for.
Snakeskin for to make things out of. Valamia is handling treating it.
Bones to carve things like weapons and needles and what-have-you. Hell, maybe even some scrimshaw.
Viper venom in case you want to poison your weapons. Sadly it doesn't have any medical applications.

All of this can be common knowledge to everyone in the tree, since I imagine news of the battle would spread quickly GOODNESS KNOWS OWAIN IS GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT IT FOR AGES.
