weather

The weather continues to be mild and temperatures staying around 80ºF/27ºC. On Wednesday and Saturday, rain will fall during the night and early mornings.

Winds remain soft breezes, and the sky is clear and blue high above, promising summer around the corner.

flora

The dandelions are joined by a few tulips in the mix of flowers around the tree, coloring the area purple, yellow and red. Another red flower is slowly waking up among the tulips, but a closer look reveals that it is a poppy.

The mushrooms are raising their caps, still inedible but possibly excellent to use for furniture once they've grown a bit more.

fauna

The rabbit that was trying to build a little burrow wasn't driven off, and thus has succeed to make a hole in the ground just large enough for her to turn around in. Inside, she's given birth to five little baby rabbits.

With the viper slaughtered, it seems that any additional snakes ever only lure outside the mist before slithering off again, making the adventurers excellent rabbit nannies.

events

Things are oddly calm this week. No strange music, no attacking animals, no magic. It's almost as if it is giving everyone a break?

A hairline crack has appeared on the Main Quest.

Regarding the mushrooms! If we harvest them to use as furniture, how long will they last? (Google says a week but maybe these are magic furniture mushrooms?)

If they are dried, they last for years!

If the characters tried to talk to the mounts in Chime's shop, would the mounts be able to communicate with them at all?

Only if the character can speak to animals!

And just checking, it would be the same if she tried to talk to any of the wild animals that approach the tree, right?

Yep! If there ever are speaking animals, they'll be clearly mentioned as such.

It remains! It's currently a permanent fixture.

Another question! If some people were to use magic or bending to try and dig underneath the tree would it a) work at all, and b) lead them to anything?

That would go under using nature-based powers on the tree, unfortunately. They could dig in the normal way, but it would only show roots.

Unfortunately, not anything that I know of. (Someone correct me if I missed a thread.) We were all discussing it at the Gathering, and then waiting for a defense force to be decided on. That... took a long time. XD

Anyway, we need people in the Main Quest Thread now!

Edit: Oh, right. Here’s a list of things we are trying.

Mods, any chance you can change the date on the Quest thread to bump it to the top of the main community page? It would help remind everyone.

We tried that, but it doesn't seem to work in communities? It takes it off everyone's reading page.

Adding in my $.02 to be helpful since changing the date doesn't work, but have you tried stickying the post? It also works on communities, so that should do the trick if you still need it.

We've stickied it now! Unfortunately this also removes it from the reading page, but it might at least be easier to find!
