We’ve made progress! ^_^

Thanks to some generous volunteers, there was a nice batch of wood paste to be strained and laid out to dry yesterday. Orcelito checked on the results today. But alas, the papers are rather brittle and rough! The prototypes will be re-mashed and a new, improved batch created. He’ll let everyone know when it’s ready.

Meanwhile, he flew out to investigate Eren’s fire. It has not burned in its’ contained environment long enough to produce charcoal, so it’ll be a couple more days until proper ink is made.

And everybody should thank Riona; she figured out how to make a writing quill! Orcelito is currently working on the design and trimming a few more. He should have a decent batch ready by the end of this week.

In the meantime, the dyes on his kitchen counter are drying out. So Orcelito will be looking for things to use as inkwells.

Thanks to everyone’s help, things are coming together! Volunteers are still welcome. And inkwells are needed, so if there’s anyone here who can create one (with magic perhaps?) let me know.
