[Lion-O's still cute in his own way, as Saber will find out if they ever meet. And at least he's not a giant wall of muscles like his dad was. Kit, meanwhile, will gladly accept any cuddles that Lion-O is too old for.]

Yep, the lion clan has always ruled Thundera, ever since our very first king, King Leo. He was the one who originally defeated Mumm-Ra a long, long time ago, though the story we were all told as cubs left out a lot of important stuff. We didn't learn what really happened until Lion-O went into the Book of Omens and told us what he found out.

I'd like for you to be able to meet all the Thundercats. I mean, I know it's probably not gonna happen, but I think you'd like them.

[Saber wants to pet her tail hair but she's too courteous to ask such a thing.]

Then it has a story of kingship. If this Mumm-Ra has returned, is he then a Spirit who has taken flesh once more? [Like Servants, in a way.

[Kit thinks about it a moment.]

I know he calls on the Ancient Spirits of Evil for power. But I don't think Mumm-Ra's a spirit himself. He's never died; he was just sealed away for hundreds, or maybe even thousands of years until Grune released him. I don't know if he even can die; he calls himself Mumm-Ra the Ever Living, and the legends say that 'as long as evil exists, Mumm-Ra lives'.

[She smiles at Saber's confused reaction, though.]

You don't have to do anything. I know you're strong and brave and kind, and you want to help and protect people who can't always do it themselves. That's how I know they'd like you.

Even if you do need more reasons to smile.

Hm. He must be very deteriorated if he has lived for so long. [At least, in her world, people rotted because even if their bodies are made immortal, their soul remains mortal and ages, which affects their physical forms. There are exceptions of souls that are immortal and remain, then, ageless, such as hers.

His normal form is a decrepit old mummy, yeah. But even then, he's still dangerous, 'cause of his magic. When he calls on the Ancient Spirits of Evil, though, he grows about ten feet tall with big muscles and bat wings.

[OK, ten feet my be a slight exaggeration, but everything looks a bit bigger when you're a kid.]

And now that he has the Tech Stone, he can change into an even bigger form that's all covered in armor. Plus he can turn into an ugly old crow when he needs to be sneaky or get away quickly, but he could always do that.

[Kit smiles a little at Saber's declaration.]

I know. If you try and do good things and help people just so people will like you, you're doing them for the wrong reason anyway. You should help because it's the right thing to do and because that's what you really believe.

Then he can utilize some kind of shifting skill if he has access to his powers through these Spirits? Hm. What else can he do?

He has all kinds of weapons and technology that he gave to the lizards so they could help him destroy Thundera. Plus he knows all Kinda of evil magic. Like for one thing, he trapped Jaga's spirit inside a lantern so he could force Jaga to lead him to the Tower of Omens. And back before he got to Third Earth, he destroyed an entire world full of people just to make the magical metal for his Sword and Gauntlet of Plundar.

[Safer? Perhaps. But as long as her brother remains on Third Earth, Kit would never willingly stay rather than rejoin him.]

I don't know if the Thundercats have a code. A lot of the laws in Thundera... weren't really that great, if you were anybody but an important cat. Mostly we just try to help where we can and oppose Mumm-Ra however we can. Cause if we're ever gonna beat him, not only do we need to get the four Power Stones we're going to need to get all the animal tribes of Third Earth to help us.
