weather

Would you look at that, the nice weather is still there! The sun is starting to actually feel warm by now, and there are rarely clouds in the sky. The ground is softening up more, but the mud seems fairly okay so far. Rain may change that.

...it won't rain, however. Everything is just blue skies and calm winds until the end of Friday, when those winds will start to pick up a bit. This will continue over the weekend.

flora

Grass continues to flourish now that the ground is getting softer from the kinder weather, and some weeds are popping up here and there. The coltsfoot, snowdrops and crocus are still blooming, but are starting to sag a bit in places.

The pink daffodil has completely bloomed, the scent now strong enough to cause rather serious highs and hallucinations. It does not seem to leave any lingering symptoms, thankfully.

fauna

The raspberry bush isn't in season yet, but a bunch of early caterpillars are crawling over it, eating old, dry leaves.

On Wednesday, another shape can be seen on the other side of the mist. This time, it looks like a dog.

events

The birds are not the only things singing at dawn and at dusk. Someone is playing the violin far away...

Two new quests can be seen on the mirror, but they seem a lot less bright than the first.

I thought that too.

Leading day and night? Is that something metaphorical like the Sun and and the Moon? Or the planet Venus (Morning Star and Evening Star?) or does it refer to the source of the Night and Day Gems?

Or maybe the characters with the first gem of each kind. Sort of like... leading the charge so to speak.

Just as I said below, I thought that too but it seems less quest-ish adventure and more about internal organization so idk.

Maybe it's the most leaderish two people who have each gem? I'd have to think about who that might be, though. Heart of the Tree could be the Lifestream.

This was my thought too, but if that's the case it could take a long time to get people to agree, the gem idea doesn't sound bad though!

Actually, I was wondering if all we have to do is join the hands of all the Night Gem users, and all the Day Gem users, in two circles around the Lifestream. That might be worth trying before we try to pick a leader.

Circle of people would be cute, uneventful in terms of adventure but cute.

It could be the two gems on the entrance floor; the location and designation sounds about right. Since joining the sun and moon would be kind of out of our scope rn unless a symbolic representation is acceptable.

Yeah, unless they can search some magical item that will cause an eclipse it's out of question.

Maybe an eclipse is coming? no, the gem idea sounds good, but what would their "hands" be?
