As much as I really, really hate to do this, I'm going to have to be a total loser and handwave that ending log. A combination of RL and this game slowly dying has really burned me out on playing in this setting way harder than I thought.

The particulars, in case it somehow becomes relevant are Pitch consuming all this fear leading up to Halloween mutated him into this...Lovecraft...Cthulu...moth-thing. Saber wasn't okay with mutant mothman, so they both found out Excalibur would work like a Starlight Sword in a pinch. The End.

This really wasn't the plan, and I'm sorry it worked out this way. I'll miss you guys, and though I'm hoping for a comeback, it'll have to be with another muse for me. As for the rest? I'll catch you lovelies on the flipside.

I've been super-busy! I'll return and pick my tags up this weekend!

It's October, kids. And that means that not only is it Pitch Black's favorite month, but the wait is over. You see back in May someone started watching your dreams. There are no Guardians here, so Pitch has pretty much had carte blanche' when it comes to taking a little of Chime's dream dust. Over the past few months Pitch has been slowly gathering power. But now he's using the siuation with creepy spooks and scares to his advantage.

What this means for you;

Your character may start noticing they feel strangely tired. Drained. As though they haven't slept much in spite of just waking up. If your character is suspicious of this, and happens to hide and watch another, make sure your character has some kind of special ability to see things, because, unless they normally see weird things (through magic, spirit particles or what have you) they won't see these Nightmares draining people of their vitality and leaving bad dreams. If your character could never see them in the first place, you're strongly urged to team up with someone who can. You both will need the help soon.

But if you can see em'? Then it's on.

They will probably try to run away at first, but the closer you get to Halloween, the more numbers they get, the bolder they get, and when it stays dark for three days? Look out. The Nightmares aren't being turned into dreamsand, they aren't being stopped or destroyed, either. The sun hasn't come up to stop them, and with Chime and Tone frozen there's plenty of mischief to be had.
