flora
All month: No more plants will appear outside for the season.
10: ...but mistletoe grows in small patches inside the tree.
fauna
5: Glowworms and fireflies are getting drowsy and tired, needing more coaxing before they do their work.
17: While the food thieving may be taken care of, some small animals are now sneaking into the tree to warm up!
18: Two arguing chipmunks outside the mist keep people up for a whole night!
24: The strange crow who mimics phrases and voices from the Adventurers’ homes returns. This time, it comes bearing a present of chestnuts and half a sweet potato!

All Month: Someone’s leaving Yule goats in the tree.
20: Surprise! Chime’s Shop appears with sales for Yule!
20-24: There’s a strange jingling in the air…
28: A Wild Hunt approaches! Strange fae and other creatures rush past the tree, pursuing a shadowy elk with a massive set of horns.
weather
Snowfall on a fairly regular basis. Good clear skies most of the time with a few snowstorms. One or two extremely cold days. Up to 4 inches of snow will eventually accumulate, which is high enough to be above most Adventurers' heads!
